Today I Confess

... that I am loving this season of Big Brother Canada! I can't say that I'm really loving the cast though. No one is standing out as someone I want to root for yet. But I am just really glad that BB is back! Do you watch?

... that I'm excited for Stephanie Tanner to be on Dancing with the Stars this season. But the rest of the cast is a little meh. At least my girl Edyta is back as a pro! #PolishPride

... that Mike got me my favourite flowers (white lilies) for International Women's Day! I have them on my nightstand and I can't wait for them to open. They smell amaaaazing!

... that I need an hour or so of "wind-down time" before I can go to sleep. That includes washing up, brushing my cat, and scrolling through Instagram in bed for the remaining 45 minutes.

... that my cat comes searching for me every night requesting his fur brushing. Lenny's a little high maintenance like that but it's one of my (and his) favourite parts of the day.

... that today was the first day of 2016 that I was able to go outside without a coat on. Spring is finally here! All the praise hand emojis!!

... that I placed an Old Navy order earlier this week because of their awesome online sale! It should be here tomorrow and I can't wait! Among other things, I got this tunic and this plaid button up shirt.

...that we have zero plans this weekend and I looove it. Well, I have no plans. Mike has plans to (hopefully) watch two UNC games this weekend. I'm basically a widow in March.

  2. Love that your husband sent you flowers! So sweet! And I'm like you--I have to have time to unwind before bed. I just can't get home from something and immediately hop into bed. My brain has to calm down first ha!

  8. Yes! Amen for the weather being "no-coat" weather! I'm in Michigan and wow it feels good! I'm also loving that the kids don't need their heavy coats, hats, mittens, snow boots, etc. I like winter, but I'm over it! Haha! Oh and BTW thanks for stopping by my blog. I'll be following you for sure! Blogging is so much fun!!!

  15. um, I think that it's the cutest thing ever that part of your wind down includes brushing your cat and that she comes and finds you for it every night!!! I love that. I need an hour wind down too and part of that always includes my phone. I forgot about white lilies, boy are they gorgeous.

  16. It takes me a while to get ready for bed too! I usually spend some time scrolling through social media before reading for a while. And hooray for Spring finally being here! I don't think that I would be able to handle the cold weather for as long you have!

  21. I love lilies! Your boy did good! :)

I too like about an hour of "downtime" before going to sleep to read & check out some social media.

  22. So sweet of Mike on the flowers front!!

I love your instagram widget too, how did you get that, I'm just noticing it on the side bar.

I actually find DJ to be annoying in Fuller house but more because of how she acts than who she is. I'm not sure if you've watched it so I'll be careful on what I say publicly.

I love Spring here, when it's not raining and muggy! I'm getting my ON order next week and cannot wait! I hope some of the clothes I bought are a hit and not misses.

  30. I love this post so much! We basically have the same night routine except for swap the brushing with insane amount of pets (hello 3 cats, one who is extremely obsessed with "the pets") and throw in an episode of Frasier after 'grammin. I'm excited for DWTS too!! Except I am sooo rooting for Nyle! Gorgeous, pretty much random guy recruited for America's Next Top Model, WINS now he's on DWTS AND he's deaf?! Ahhh I'm so excited! I know he's not the first person on the show but I didn't see Marlee's season so I'm stoked to learn about this a different culture doing something most people would think they couldn't. So excited!!!
